I have been travelling for 3 and a half years now on and off. I am a very chill kind of guy most of the time but I can be very energetic also. Always keen to go on adventures in the big outdoors and meet new people! I hope to travel and see new things for a long time to come.

My passion before I discovered travelling was Paintball. In Scotland I was working as the manager of an independent paintball site, and was the head Marshall of my countries paintball league. I also have a passion for music and play mainly the Violin and Guitar, I also have a nice collection of instruments at home I love to play very poorly. With the violin I have played in 5 different orchestras, a traditional Scottish Music band, and have even participated in and won solo competitions. I have never had a guitar lesson before but I have become relatively skilled with finger style, however I am not much of the singer songwriter type so don't expect me to play Wonderwall for you.

Aside from cutting the costs, couch surfing seems like a a great way to meet local people who can help with inside knowledge of the place you are visiting. You have never truly experienced a country unless you get off the tourist track I feel.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once won 1 of 5 trophies in a paintball tournament with over 1600 players in attendance for the 'maddest move'. In a paintball war between 800 Englishman and 800 Scotsman, I climbed to the top of the final objective building where the entirety of both armies were launching a final assault for the building, lifted my kilt to the English commando style and shouted freedom while being pelted in the genitals and bum with paintballs. Many people may not find this amazing, but apparently it is worth a trophy.
