I'm a Colombian guy who's currently living in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. I am doing an education internship program in Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion School. My goal being here is to learn as much as I can, not only about education strategies, but also about the American culture. I love meeting new people and sharing our ways of thinking about the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started following the Couchsurfing account on Instagram around a year ago and I was waiting for the perfect occasion to do it. A friend recommended me the app and told me how kind and polite are the host, and how it's a great chance to share your culture with other while knowing other cities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like Folk-pop, and every kind of music that includes a banjo on its melody. I like deep house and tropical house. That kind of music makes me fly. I also like Vallenato, a typical kind of Colombian music that uses the accordion as its main instrument. I like action movies, those where the main character never dies and is an expert on martial arts. I also like love and science fiction movies, like Harry Potter or Marvel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Middle East for six months. I lived in Oman, a big country in the Arabian peninsula. I had the chance to travel to other countries in Middle East as United Arab Emirates, and some countries in Asia like Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. I also did a short stop in Turkey. I met really nice people and had the time of my life.
