ABOUT ME

I am a good egg.

Dual national American/Norwegian living for the last 10+ odd years in Japan who's a photographer with some lenses and squinty eyes. Crazy about trekking & climbing mountains. I wish I didn't need to sleep, but I like my dreams. Often don't know what I'm looking for, but I'm usually sure when I find it. I feel most at home when I'm not from around here.

I'm using couchsurfing to meet people not furniture.

I do like furniture, though. Especially if it's wood.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been meeting people independently traveling the old timey way for many years, back when we all wore onions in our belts, because that was the fashion of the time, but now I'm trying out using this 010101010101010101 couchsurfing dot com and I think it will be a thing.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

-Was a child.
-Learned some things in school.
-Fished a summer in Alaska.
-Fought fires in the Pacific Northwest.
-Worked in a Fire Lookout Tower in Oregon.
-Worked backstage at a Nirvana concert in 1993.
-Lived 2 1/4 years in Praha, the Czech Republic.
-Traveled overland from Syria to India in 1997.
-Trekked in USA, CZ, Norway, Japan, Vietnam, Iran, Pakistan, & India.
-Got married.
-Raised a cat without eyes. She's sitting on my lap as I am typing this. Now I am done.
