I'm a musician/writer/poet, who loves exploring cities and countryside. I play synth/keyboard/bass in a band called Morever. I like to go on long walks, to have too much to drink in bars, to meet crazy people, and to learn new skills.

It's my dream to make enough money from my music and writing to walk all over the world.

Last year I walked from southern Poland (near Auschwitz) to Vienna along the Morava river. I've recently been doing a few workaways in Andalucia. I think my next walking project will be from Barcelona to either Lake Como, or the English Channel, depending on how much money I spend.

I like exploring different cultures. Seeing how people interact differently, how they spend their free time, their commitment to personal projects.

I'm a musician by trade. I play the piano and a bit of trumpet and guitar. I'm obsessed with Wagner and Mahler.

I'm interested in international politics and current affairs.

Climbing mountains. Swimming in rivers and lakes. Maximising connection with the land.

Books: DH Lawrence, Hardy, Ian McEwan, Milan Kundera, and Ryszard Kapuscinski. I also love poetry (especially Keats's).

Films: recently Birdman, Whiplash, The Revenant. Love genuinely terrifying horror films.

Music: Classical (particularly Mahler and Wagner). Always interested in new music. I'm no snob though.
