Born in the tropical highlands of north Queensland I moved around a lot, eventually ending up in Tasmania wading through half a meter of snow! I love learning and seeing new things and meeting people from different backgrounds. I love the outdoors and the crazy beautiful things nature and Humans create.

My passion lies in reducing the negative impacts of Humans on the world and making it a bit nicer to live in through education and design.

I currently work in brewing and fermentation.

My partner (Erin), grew up in Tasmania, and is currently completing a PhD in Conservation Ecology. She is a keen Botanist, aspiring Birder and enjoys hiking or a glass of wine whist listening to vinyl records.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I are traveling through Italy, Spain and Portugal together. I've used couchsurfing before and really loved how it offers the chance to gain local knowledge and be invited into someone's personal life to share their ways. We hope to do some hosting once we have returned from our travels!
