Born and raised in California, sunny days and palm trees make me happy. I moved to Seattle after completing my Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at UC Irvine. Don't know how long I will stay here for, but I'm liking it so far! Currently work as a Spanish teacher in the greater Seattle area. As an educator, I believe that the best kind of learning happens outside of the classroom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed in Lille, France, and it was one of the best experiences I had while traveling. Looking forward to meet more people and make new friends in the PNW and beyond this way.

Depends on the day, but I'm generally very outgoing and I prefer to spend time outdoors if the weather cooperates.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed a martial arts training program for 365 consecutive days during the pandemic without failing. I'm pretty proud of that.
