About Me

Originally from Cupey, PR 🇵🇷 | Former Bostonian ; SF Resident.
I’m a professional musician (sax player for Vivanativa 🎷🤘🏻) who lives for the stage and the road. After 7 years in the States, I’m back in Puerto Rico sharing my love for the island. Local artist

About me:

Musician life: If I’m not recording, I’m gigging. My house is a sanctuary of instruments, vinyl records, and one very cool cat named Bowie.
The Vibe: Total 60s and 70s soul. I’m very easy-going and thrive on spontaneity—last-minute plans are usually the best ones.

Random Skills: I do impressions and accents. If we hang out, you’ll probably hear a few movie characters come to life.
I tend to learn a bit about everything.

Hobbies: Huge MMA fan and a dedicated record collector. Love Surfing 🏄‍♂️

Hosting/Surfing:
I travel a lot for shows, so my calendar might be a bit chaotic. However, I’m a local tour guide at heart! Ask me for my curated map of PR—I’ll show you the spots the tourists miss.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve been hosting for six years across Boston, San Francisco, and now back home in Puerto Rico. I’m obsessed with cultural exchange—sharing my roots and learning about yours. My home is a creative space; you’re more than welcome to dive into my record collection or pick up an instrument and play! I just ask that you help me keep the vibe high by being tidy and respectful of the space. A little heads-up before you arrive is always appreciated so I can make sure everything is perfect for your stay.

Interests

I’m a Jack of all trades with a deep curiosity for the world. You’ll often find me exploring the intersection of philosophy, nature, and the occult. I’m a traveler at heart, always on the road searching for places I’ve never been. I’m a big believer in not stressing over things I can’t control, and I value the beauty of silence just as much as I love a thriving social scene—I’m a true believer in balance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once decided to camp in Millinocket, Maine during the dead of winter. The temperature hit -17°F, and to make matters worse, I managed to walk the wrong way for miles in the middle of the night. As someone born and raised on a tropical island, I’m still not entirely convinced I didn't actually freeze solid—this might just be my ghost typing this from a warmer climate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn new languages and accents. I'd love to help anyone to learn to play music and am definitely down for jamming!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a big believer in good energy and generosity. I can offer you a home-cooked meal, local tips on the best hidden beaches, or a guided hike through the island's trails. As a professional musician, I’m always happy to share some tunes (you can find my work under Ed Harvest!). I value mutual respect and mindful communication, and I’d love to connect over great food and even better stories.
