CURRENT MISSION

Share my 37 acre farm in Costa Rica with warm and interesting people. I am located 15 minutes from the beach town of Playa Dominical in the lovely community of Platanillo.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah USA. I am a lover of nature and bought my farm in Costa Rica several years ago. I am located 15 minutes from the beach town of Playa Dominical on the Pacific coast of beautiful Costa Rica. I have a new two bedroom, two bath custom home that I would like to share. There is a citrus orchard, garden and other fruit trees galore. The farm and home are situated on the main paved road between San Isidro Del General and Playa Dominical so there is bus access.

PHILOSOPHY

We live in challenging times and I am a very open person who believes that the future needs to be faced with hope, optimism, awe and wonder and good old common sense and hard work. I enjoy sharing ideas and learning from others. I am a very generous person and am glad to share the beauty that I have with others. I appreciate those who have visited with me and the fun and wonderful times that we have shared. It enriches each of us.

A neighbor and close friend introduced me to couchsurfing.com. She is from England and her husband is from Southern California. There is a wonderful community of people in this area of Costa Rica from all parts of the world. Come and visit and you are instantly amoung friends and enveloped in nature.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several couch surfers and other travelers and they have loved my home and beautiful farm. I hope you too will visit and share this wonderful place with me. Everyone who has visited Finca Sonrier has had a peaceful and enjoyable visit.

Here in Costa Rica, I enjoy gardening, bird watching, nature in general, the beach, snorkeling, hiking, meeting interesting people from all parts of the world. The sense of being away from the stress of the rest of the hectic world. I have internet access in my home so I am connected to the rest of the world. But I also have Toucans and hear monkeys and parrots.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I traveled for my work non stop 10 years. I have seen many places and countries and have over 1 million miles on Delta airlines. I have sky dived, visited numerous countries but have never been to Europe. I enjoy the many surprises that nature seems to present to us every day. I now want to learn more from others, younger and older, to hear your stories and share in your hopes and dreams.
