ABOUT ME
I grew up in Mississauga, Canada...white picket fence style with a small group of solid girlfriends whom I hold so close to my heart it's unreal. My family is all in the Netherlands and thus I travel there often, but still haven't learned Dutch so the language barrier is a bit of a drag. After my Bachelor's degree I moved to Trinidad and Tobago where I was a sport officer for a project called Kicking AIDS Out for a year and I struggled to understand lots of things going on inside and outside of me. I went to study in Sweden in a seriously unique study setting and learned to listen to myself and others...and now that my world has been flipped upside down and turned inside out, I'm exploring the question of what we're all living for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I must admit I've been an avid surfer, however an eager hostess once I get an address :) I have had some amazing hosts. The generousity they embody just blows me away.
Interests
I love sports - snowboarding, running, biking, volleyball, softball, tennis, swimming. And I've taken up reading more often lately. I'm also considering a slight career in writing....so I've taken to listening and writing a little more than talking as of late. I'm a sucker for Caribbean Soca, chocolate and wine.

Teach, Learn, Share
I teach snowboarding and will drop everything to teach anyone when we have access to snow (it seems I should stick around the CAribbean more and if Climate shifts continue...I'll find snow again soon!). I'm into co-creation and practice yoga on and off the mat. Any lessons in mindfulness, inner peace and universal love are welcome!
