I am a Canadian expat in Shanghai.
I am from the west coast of Canada.
I have lived in many countries and territories, including Kyoto, Japan, Taiwan, Shanghai, China, and Hong Kong.

I like to travel and live like the locals. I had tutored and lived with a family in Taipei, Taiwan. It was a wonderful experience where I did some language exchange. I taught 4 kids how to speak English and I learned conversational Mandarin from the family.

I caught the travel bug during my mid 20s after a stint in a tier one Canadian business school, where I mesmerized myself with numbers and financial institutional practices , I decided to drop out and learn about people, languages and cultures around the world, leaving behind my young hungry corporate ladder climbing friends back home.
