我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The goal of travelling is experiencing new cultures but it's diffucult to do so without getting to know people who create it.
Couchsurfing makes meeting locals a lot easier, which not only allows to explore a place in a completely different way but can also give a new perspective on life and that's what I'm looking for, broadening horizons.

兴趣

The thing I am most interested about is language - how it affects our brain, the way we think and how we perceive the world around us. I believe that "to have another language is to possess a second soul" (as allegedly Charlemagne said) and that the best way to get to know the culture is through language.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music:
I don't think I have a favourite genre or an artist. The music I listen to changes constantly and often depends on my mood. One day I'm listening to Die Antwoord, next day to Elvis and Queen or Sia and Lorde. I like some k-pop, but also enjoy classical music. To sum up - I love getting to know different artists no matter what genre they represent and am fond of both - songs with the message as well as those that just sound good.

Movies:
Likewise, I enjoy different types of films. Although I must admit I usually seek entertainment in movies so I often end up watching something that may not be that great, but allows me to stop thinking about daily worries. I don't watch horrors.
I still watch Disney and Pixar movies and adore them.
Having said that, the times I do decide to watch something more challenging I end up loving it.
I used to watch a few TV series but now the only one I watch is Game of Thrones.

Books:
Right now I'm trying to keep up with all the books I have to read for my studies, so I don't have much to say. Just some medieval Italian literature.
Of course, just as for many others in my generation, "Harry Potter" was my childhood, therefore holds a special place in my heart.
