My name is Erin and I live with my boyfriend and dog in the loop in Chicago. I have been teaching ELL at a school in the suburbs of Chicago for four years. I have lived in Mexico and Spain and enjoy meeting people from other countries and cultures.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I just joined couchsurfing recently because I will be taking a trip to Denver soon and think it would be nice to stay with a local instead of a hotel so we can get to know the city a little better. We are thinking about moving there and would like to get to know it from the perspective of a native :) Then I realized how fun it would be to host people here in Chicago too!

I enjoy reading mostly nonfiction- articles about bilingual education, fitness, psychology, etc. I have also been reading more chapter books in Spanish to improve my skills
