ABOUT ME
What is there to say. I'm Eef, 25 years old and I study political sciences in Stockholm after I decided that it was time to move on from Belgium and discover something new. I've been here for 1,5 years now, and I can say that it was a very, very good idea! Some more about me: I like to make my way through life smiling, I have quite a lot of energy, love to go out or hang out with friends, discover new places and meet new people.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to discover. To see what's out there and make most of what I can do. Sounds a little cheesy, but it's true.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I have no possibility to host people in my current apartment due to a lack of space and not so open roommates - but I can definitely hang out and give tips about stockholm.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All very positive. But really, all of the times were great, I had a really good time and I like doing it, you have someone who knows the place and can show you what's not on the average tourist map. It's great.
Interests
I mostly spend my time listening to or playing music (I play cello and guitar) or looking to make future travel plans. Besides that I like photography, I'm not really an expert but it's something I'm interested in. As I study political science I try to follow what's happening in the world, mostly everything connected to the Arctic. And I like good food! Eat it, make it, but mostly eat it. Jummie.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently saw Les Intouchables, insanely nice movie. Some of my other favourites include Moonrise Kingdom, Trainspotting, I love you Jim Morris, and a list of other that don't come to my mind right now. I enjoy most kinds of music, just not a big fan of minimal electro things. I like it more when there is something to sing along or dance hard to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The transmongolian railway all the way from Moscow to Ulan Bator (and later further on to Beijing), you would think 5 days on a train starts getting boring but it was one of the nicest experiences I ever had.
