Overview
About Me
I'm an open-minded and grounded person who enjoys sharing everyday moments with others.
I value presence, mutual respect and doing things together in a natural way - whether that's cooking, talking, exploring or simply spending time without rushing.
I'm easy to be around, independent and comfortable both in shared moments and personal space.
I come from a humanistic background and work in the social field, which has shaped the way i listen to people and approach different cultures with curiosity and respect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m relatively new to Couchsurfing as a platform, but the spirit behind it has been part of my life for a long time.
While travelling, I’ve often found my way to locals through different paths - staying in their homes, sharing meals, everyday life and learning about culture through real human connection. Those experiences have shaped the way I travel and how I see the world.
In Finland, this has been more difficult. My life here has been more focused on local friends and everyday routines, and i haven’t really lived that traveller life at home yet. Now it feels like the right time to start.
I want to experience and share culture here as well - through food, conversations, everyday moments and doing things together. I value hospitality deeply and want to offer the same openness, respect and warmth that I’ve received from people around the world.
For me Couchsurfing is about shared experiences, mutual curiosity and living the traveller spirit wherever you are - not just visiting places, but meeting people.
I truly enjoy hosting and sharing my space, culture and everyday life with others, and creating a place where people feel welcome and comfortable.
Interests
I’m interested in cultures and everyday life, and in the small things that make people and places unique.
I enjoy sharing moments like cooking and eating together, walking around, exploring places and experiencing things together in a natural way.
I like conversations that feel real - sometimes deeper, sometimes light and simple. I don’t expect everything to be deep all the time - for me it’s about balance and feeling comfortable together.
Psychology, humanities and philosophy are close to my heart as ways to understand people and the world better, but shared experiences and presence matter just as much.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy music from different cultures and have a wide taste across genres.
Music plays an important role in my everyday life - I like listening to different kinds of music depending on the mood and moment.
I enjoy sharing music and discovering new sounds together.
I like books and films that explore people, cultures and real life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived and travelled slowly across Europe, including spending the winter of 2024-2025 living in a campervan in Spain and driving through around 15 countries.
Along the way, I've been involved in
humanitarian work and experienced many different sides of life, which has given me perspective and shaped the way I see people and the world.
I've had some adventurous moments, but what truly stands out for me is living and spending time with locals - sleeping in people's homes, sharing everyday life and building real friendships across cultures. That way of travelling and living has been the most meaningful experience for me ❣️
Teach, Learn, Share
I’ve learned both by living life and by reading, reflecting and trying to understand people and the world.
Experiences like humanitarian work and everyday encounters have given me perspective, and learning has helped me make sense of what I’ve seen.
I enjoy sharing thoughts and lived experience when it feels natural - always as an exchange, not a lecture.
I also love sharing simple, everyday things like local culture, habits and ways of living - and I’m just as happy with light, relaxed moments as with deeper conversations.
For me, learning and sharing are about presence, curiosity and experiencing things together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer openness, respect and genuine interest in people and cultures.
I’m considerate of shared space, easy to be around and appreciative of hospitality.
I enjoy sharing everyday moments, conversations, food, music, walks or simple activities - if it feels natural, but I also respect personal space and different rhythms.
I value mutual exchange and a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, where everyone can be themselves without pressure 🫶🏼
