About Me

Mission:
To have meaningful interactions, learn about other cultures, and have conversations with fellow wanderlusters

About Me:
I am caribbean, love traveling and meeting people, and having guests, so i guess CS is perfect! I'm easy going, like to have conversations, and love learning about people and places. I love music, dancing, reading, good movies, and playing with animals.

I am a vegetarian.

I believe in helping out with whatever whenever you can.

Philosophy:
I believe in the goodness of people, in happiness, in being constructive with what you have instead of dwelling on what's lacking. I live life to enjoy it, to contribute, to discover things, to journey with others on similar quests, to learn from others and to share whatever i know...I live life to taste it, my favourite quote is by Emily Dickinson...and i want to be able to say it when i am old and probably not grey, but dyed brown..."I tasted life"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love CS, I was really active for a while and took a break. Now I am hoping to get back into it. I miss the CS community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and have been hosted and am always so pleased with what amazing people I meet and new friendships born and I always feel more deeply connected with the world through them.

Interests

Books (all kinds), movies (not westerns or kung-fu), being outside, yoga, bellydance, learning languages, learning in general, exploring new places, obviously I love to travel and am interested in people. I like to cook and I have an interest in Global Health and public health systems and social behaviour.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Peace Corps Service in Morocco was amazing.

Shark Cage Diving was amazing.

I grew up riding horses through the rainforest to the beach, where we would swim with the horses, which I used to take for granted, but it is pretty amazing experience.
