ABOUT ME

I'm a guy who like to travel and meet new people. Since I was 11 I've been active in a peace educational organization called CISV which has taken me around the world to different projects and camps. This gives balance to my professional life where I wear a suit and tie every day...

I'm from Finland and I have dreamed of living abroad already for a few years and now I got the opportunity to move to Dublin to start working here.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess I have to say that live for today and don't worry too much about tomorrow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully more and more in the future as I get more settled in Dublin. I already participated in quite a few events and I'm sure I'm going to host more and more in the future. Back in Finland I hosted 6 people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During one of the second week in Dublin I was trying to figure out if there could be a CS event I could join to meet people. I went on the CS site and found that there was a wonderful couple hosting a event just to meet everyone. So I thought this would a great event to go to and so I did. There I met a lot of cool people and four of them became my closests friends here in Dublin. Thanx for that Piret and David.

Interests

I'm very open minded and want to try new things. But mostly I like going to new places and meeting new people. Surprise me with something that I've never tried before and I'm pretty sure I'll join.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most memorable moments happened in July 2011 when I was travellin around Bali. We went to visit Uluwatu temple in the shouth tip of Bali. Our taxi driver warned us for the cheeking monkeys that are all around. I did believe him and I was taking good care of my stuff. How ever when I stoped to take a picture of me and my friend Manu a monkey jumped on my should and stole my glasses. Luckily I had spare ones with me...
