About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeking more questions and creating more memories.

ABOUT ME

I breathe and try to slow down the constant need inside me to move. I do sports, I love cooking and people. I love seeing new places, meeting various kinds of people, and trying new things. Teaching kids takes a big part of my days, and also me, right now. I love my job and life, but also count days for holidays, and the amazing possibilities to go and see a bit more of our amazing world.

PHILOSOPHY

Every now and then I need to sit and breathe and wonder. Take the opportunities given, make more and enjoy them. I try to remember that there is no need to be in a constant rush.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is ready for use (but mostly on school-semester-times only, i am away from finland during all my holidays), and my knowledge on Helsinki-area and some other parts of Finland to share. If I have time i can also take people around Helsinki.
I would also like to meet people on my own travels, learn about the cultures and ways of life.

Interests

I love wall-climibing, running and swimming. I like cooking. I read a lot and enjoy going to theaters, cinema, museums and small concerts. I spend a lot of time with my precious friends...and with work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

But our world and lives are full of amazing things! What comes in my mind first? I climbed on the top of indochina in Vietnam, i saw the most amazing sunset over Himalayas, taught tens of kids under a tree in Ugandan village in so many boiling hot mornings. I danced in India on sand floor in a beautiful rajastani dress, slept under millions of shining stars in the sand dunes. I've been freezing in lapland, riding reindeer-sleighs and been astonished by the beauty of northern lights. I saw how one 5-years-old under-priviledged boy in my class in Pune, India, learned to count, add and multiply extremely quickly in less than a month. I rode motorbikes in the hills of laos, swam under waterfalls, meditated by river Ganges in Varanasi, celebrated new year in bangkok with loaded waterpistols, being soaking wet days in a row. Bought fruits in kenya, saw giraffes and elphants in northern uganda. Was bitten by dracula in romania. What do we count as amazing things? the smiles of school kids in the morning? the strenght of people around us?
