CURRENT MISSION

I just came from 4 months Backpack trip in South and Southeast Asia. I had many first-time experiences, such surfing, trekking, snorkeling, supping.., on the way. I met wonderful people who shared unbelievable memories with me and I'm so lucky I have got to know new interesting cultures.

ABOUT ME

An exchange experience in Peru, in South-America was awesome. There I lived in a different culture and I have met great people and learned to speak Spanish (más o menos). I really love traveling and I'm going to visit in every continents in the future. I live on my own in Hyvinkää, which is a small city, about 40 min by train from Helsinki, the capital of Finland. I'm curious to meet new people and generally I don't want to do things with the easiest way (not always). I'm a friendly and reliable person who doesn't have patience to hold still for a long, at least if we are talking about traveling. I'm honest, if I promise something I will keep it.

PHILOSOPHY

Some great quotes that are suitable for my life and my attitude. "Believe your dreams." Stay positive - everything will be ok, in some way. And right attitude. For example 2 weeks before I arrived to Lima, to begin my student exchange, my exchange university told me that they don't have courses in english to offer me. And I hardly knew how to say "My name is" in Spanish. But I realized that if I try hard I will manage, and now, here we are, I have almost survived! And besides of all: enjoy and have fun, life cannot be too serious.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My finnish friend told me that she has used that site sometimes. She has been both a host and a guest. I was really interested in when she told me and I wanted to participate in too. In fact I have thought it a lot. When I got my (rent) apartment I realized that now I have good opportunity to host others also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a local couchsurfer in Sri Lanka and the other one in Singapore. I surfed in Argentina in 2014 with 2 wonderful Argentinian sisters. In the summer 2013 my Japanese friend came to Finland and I hosted him for a 5 days. I don't live in a capital but we were visited on a capital, on a summer cottage, eat Finnish food and made it ourselves, went to take some drinks, he met my Finnish friends... And in summer 2014 I hosted my Peruvian friend for 6 days. I have also guided the Brazilian in our capital.

Interesses

On my free time I listen to music, watch movies, hang out with my friends, eat on restaurants - I love food and desserts. I like to dance so sometimes we go to a nightclub with my friends, or we can just go out and take some drinks and share "news". I'm "daredevil", I like to do things that get the adrenaline flow. I have many friends all over the world, and I'm interested in to meet new people.

Fast & Furious -movies, comedies (Hangover), romantic films (27 Dresses, Chasing Liberty).. Recently I have surprised myself by watching more action, and even scifi films.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

For me my backpack trip and an exchange have been something unbelievable. But what else, I have done a bungee-jumping, got a motorbike licence, hiked a Machu Pichhu, surfed in Asia.. But there are lots of things I have to do in the future. For example I want to try diving and rafting, learn to snowboard better, do a parachuting etc.
