About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Is to see new places and make new friends while having fun and laughing a lot.
ABOUT ME
I am a Spiritual women who loves to enjoy each moment. I love people and I enjoy making them happy. I would love to meet you, why don't you come for a visit.
I am, also, a mother and a wife and a business woman. I enjoy being a mother most and now wish I had 20 children, instead of just the 2 that are grown. Someday, I hope to be a grandma and I hope it is in the next 10 years. But maybe it won't happen, I have 3 siblings that never had children, in which case that will be just fine, too. Acceptance!
PHILOSOPHY
I want to leave each place better than it was when I arrived. My intention is to walk softly in this world while reaching out to others. And to remember I am a soul having a physical existance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting CSers. I have a blast talking & meeting new people, showing them around the area, and making them meals. My hope is that we continue to host many people in this home and on our catamaran in the future, when we retire. Don't get excited yet, those of you who want to visit our boat, we haven't purchased it yet. ( We had one once before. ) And I want to CS in Africa. I may have to do that alone, because my husband, of 28 yrs, doesn't have any interest in visiting Africa. I don't know if I can do it alone, I know my son, Evan, and many of you do that on a regular basis, but me...I don't know if I have the courage.
Interests
Art, painting, reading, sailing, walking/hiking, a few days of backpacking, pets, animals of all kinds, children, people of all cultures, card games, games in general, nature, personal growth, expansion of self.
My dream is to lay awake at night, in an African Savannah, safe in my tent and snug in my bedroll and listen to the wild life moving around outside. And maybe, just maybe if it is not too much to ask, to hear a wild lion roar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My husband and I quit our jobs in 1980 and rode our motorcycle to Canada and Alaska camping along the way. We saw grizzlies, moose, elk and the tundra in full fall colors before we were forced home on September 1 because of the first snow storm of the year.
