About Me
CURRENT MISSION
[NEW TO CS]
Hip and caring Yoga & Meditation Educator and professional assistant getting ready to relocate to Washington DC after spending a year traveling. Looking to start a life in DC. Anyone who like to allow me their couch for the summer while getting myself established would be so appreciated.
ABOUT ME
48 Years young, 5'9 Hispanic male originally from NYC, rebuilding my life after years of economic setbacks. I am very eager to connect with the CS world and meet new friends and have intelligent conversations. I'm an introvert, always of service, shy, not a party person anymore, don't drink nor smoke, and not a creep by any means. Worked with yoga communities in NYC, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Philadelphia. Fascinated by today's youth and guiding them to use yoga as a tool to be a better version of themselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In addition to needing a place to stay for a month, I am looking to make new connections with people of positive energy so I can start laughing more, align myself with people of high vibration and just bask and chill. Pretty simple !!
Interests
Great conversations, Soccer, Basketball, Wellness, Yoga, Art, Museums and Travel, listening to great music, appreciating and understanding new cultures and meditation - it's so important in this time so that we don't lose our minds.

Music, Movies, and Books
Enjoy fiction and fantasy like the Harry Potter books. I recently finished the "Alchemist." Enjoy the Bourne Movies and Mission Impossible movies. Just started reading 'Meditations' by Marcus Aurelius. Favorite TV Shows? "Charmed" "Timeless" "Madam Secretary" & "Blue Bloods" "Sense8"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Flew to South America for a month to help a friend lead adventure and yoga retreats in the mountains of Cuzco, Peru at 16,000 feet. Being of service is an incredible experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
All I can offer is my personal experience and share my knowledge with others. If you want to learn Yoga and meditation, I can help you there.
I'm embracing this new learning experience through CS and have all the faith that it will allow me to travel the world again one step at a time through Europe. Eventually doing "The Road to Santiago de Compostela"
Being of service is defined in so many ways and I'm allowing myself to learn a new variation of it by intellectual connections and how I can serve.
