In my opinion the best method to explore a new city is to get in touch with locals, who can show you the places where the local people spend (when sending a request, please include the word „Vredespaleis“) their life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This incident happened when I was travelling with my mother in India, and we met a guy who wasn't able to speak to us or even hear us because he was deaf. But my mother knows sign language (which is very international, at least small talk) and in a blink of an eye, they had a lively conversation.... wonderful moment! :-)
