About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm looking to expand my world.

ABOUT ME

I have one more year of college left before I'm officially out in the real world, and I don't know what I'm going to do once I'm there. But so far I know that I love traveling and I love people and culture, so for now that is what I am lending myself to. I'm always looking to improve, to become a better member of human society by learning about the world and experiencing everything it has to offer. I want to be able to say at the end of my life that I have lived a full life.

PHILOSOPHY

live fully, love well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couch surfing, trying it out as we speak.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but I have heard great things from friendly travelers who have both surfed and hosted.

Interests

I enjoy being outdoors, hiking and camping or just hanging out in the natural world. I love road trips and meeting random people along the way, trying new foods and activities. I love folk art and music, live or otherwise, reading and talking.

Music, Movies, and Books

books: into the wild, 100 years of solitude, love in the time of cholera, the unbearable lightness of being, the god of small things, animal dreams, loose woman and other poetry.

movies: the diving bell and the butterfly, amelie, a good year, the fountain, and many others.

music: the black keys, gomez, john mayer, transit, norah jones, new music all of the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

when I was sixteen I went with a group at 5 in the morning to climb one of the ancient mayan temples in the abandoned city of tikal, in order to see the sun rise and hear the jungle wake up. we were all friends at the top while we waited and watched, and it was a sight unlike anything else I have experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

anything! especially languages and recipes, or if someone could teach me how to play the guitar that would be great.
