Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Eva, I'm 28 years old and I first experienced the joy of travelling when I haven't even been one year old. I celebrated my first birthday in Canada in the Rockies, which my aunt calls home, and which also made me fall in love with being on the road and with learning from various cultures and people.
Since then, I was lucky enough to spend almost every summer in the Canadian mountains, I've gone on a road trip all around the USA, walked on white beaches in Scotland, slept at a Ryad in Marrakech, saw the Northern Lights in Norway, braced a storm in Wales, guided a bus tour from Germany to the North Cape and so on. I can't wait to experience even more of this beautiful world we call home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just love the idea of it. I love that it makes travelling not just so much more fun, but also accessible for everyone. I love the trust strangers put into each other, even though they've never met before. It makes me believe that the world really is a good place and that there really are good people out there.
Every Couchsurfing experience I had taught me something. About others, about myself, about communication and connection, about culture. When I look back at my trips, I realize that these are the things that matter much more than sightseeing itself. It's all about embracing the country or city you're currently visiting and the best way to do that is by being with the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Definitely too much to count it up, I just like good music by artists who love what they do. Whatever it is. On a quiet evening, I'm all about indie folk music and singer-songwriters. On weekends, you'll either find me at a hardcore-punk concert or at a techno party. When I'm feeling fly, I'll be listening to hip hop beats. On rainy days I'll probably sit in my bed singing to 70s or 80s rock songs or grunge. There's no limit to which music I like.
Movies: The movies I like the most either make me sob like a little girl or scare the shit out of me.
Books: Everything that touches me deeply.
