ABOUT ME

Singapore is too small for the twenty-somethings. I made this self discovery whilst in the toilet one fine morning and realised, I need to go (no pun intended).

So I quit my job, and went to England in 2006 and had the most amazing summer of my life. Worked for a bit, and went to North America for Winter. Back in Europe (part 2) for summer of 2007 and now, unfortunately after all monies ran out and commitments in life beckons, I'm back in Singapore.

4 years on... I'm back with my travelling bug! You will be seeing a lot more eff-ness in 2012!

PHILOSOPHY

Mark Twain told me that twenty years from now (I) will be more disappointed by the things that (I) didn’t do than by the ones (I) did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Then Gail Rubin Bereny whispered: The traveler was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes "sight seeing".

Well, I tend to agree!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First started in Barcelona where I met amazing Xabi (who came and visit me again in London!), then when I was in North America, met a few wonderful people with stories I still tell many, and back in Europe. Many, too many. :)

Just decided to drop my life (at 24) to experience the adventure of a lifetime by going across the globe and having a go at it. Though it lasted only for a year, it has changed my perspective in life!
