About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, obviously, and to become a teacher.

ABOUT ME

My life since my mid teens has been geared towards travelling, reading almost everything I can get my hands on and eating huge amounts of delicious food. Generally relaxed, I am equally happy to spend a night in with my friends or dancing 'til dawn.

PHILOSOPHY

Crying over spilt milk is such a melancholy thing to do!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the couchsurfing community and am looking forward to meeting people as we all travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been hosted in Granada and had a really great time. Hopefully I'll be able to surf more and host some people soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pride and Prejudice and Emma to assuage my romantic whims.
Any sort of travel literature on any where in the world, the furthur flung the better.
Indie, world, classical, jazz, Hindi and ocasionally angry girl music of the indie rock persuasion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Various sun rises in different parts of the world most particularly in the Kakamega rainforest and over the Masaai Mara in Kenya, on the summit of Mount Toubkal in Morocco and sunset in the Campanile in Venice. I am very lucky to have seen as many amazing things as I have. I can not list them all.

Teach, Learn, Share

To say I can teach these might be a bit of a misnomer but I would be very happy to share 'modern' British cuisine (which is much better than people think). Practising English is the obvious thing that I have to offer.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Kenya, United Kingdom
