ABOUT ME

I grew up in St. Austell, Cornwall, England (that's small town, very rural) so absolutely love the countryside, exploring, walking, climbing trees, playing on beaches etc.

I went travelling a few times (Europe and Central/South America), came back and decided it was time to get a 'proper job', so spent time in Bristol and London training to be an electrician.

After qualifying I took some time out, working in America and travelling in Spain... I've now come full circle and am living back in Cornwall, enjoying the countryside lifestyle. Whilst I love technology and can be a bit geeky about electrics, i'm enjoying learning about nature, having my first veg plot, getting in the sea as often as possible :)

Travelling, exploring, nature, music and martial arts are my passions. Now I have a thirst for learning and am enjoying feeling a little more permanent about where I'm living!

Just finished; All the pretty Horses - Cormac McCarthy, Walden - Thoreaux, a book on wood technology.

Currently; The Crossing, Cormac McCarthy and i'm tackling Matilda in Spanish.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about green construction, and maybe structural engineering. I want to learn about horticulture, growing things, understanding how nature works. I want to learn about the science behind electricity. I want to learn about mountain navigation, sailing. I want to learn how to stop being scared of abseiling.

I can teach you about electricity, martial arts, sailing, various tidbits of knowledge from the places i've been. If I know it then you're welcome to learn it :)
