Hi! I’m 23 years old, from a small town in Manitoba, Canada. I love exploring and being in the great outdoors. I’ve been in Asia for nearly a year now and sadly have to leave in a few months, but I’m excited to see new places and experience new things for the rest of my time in this beautiful continent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to travel in a way that connects me to local communities and cultures. I want to hear about local life wherever I am. I volunteered at a farm in rural Nepal a while ago, experiencing village life for a few weeks, and it was one of my favourite travel experiences. I would like the find more opportunities like that.

I love folk & country music but I’m open to listening to anything, I always enjoy hearing what other people love. I don’t watch a lot of movies, but I do appreciate a nostalgic movie (usually an animated movie from my childhood). I love reading; mostly fiction, but sometimes non-fiction as well.

I would love to share about my own culture and life experiences growing up in Canada, and learn about other peoples’ as well. My favourite experiences while travelling have all been because of the hospitality and generosity of strangers. I would like to pay that back as best as possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’d love to share my own culture and experiences, while learning about theirs. I am a certified teacher in Canada, with a degree in English, so I don’t mind helping others improve their English, even if it’s just by practicing speaking together. I’d love to help out as much as possible, with house work, cooking, or anything else.
