ABOUT ME

I completed my degree in May 2012 to become a teacher. I was a substitute teacher for a few months, got restless, and moved to Ireland for 9 months. I have been home for a few months to save some money before traveling again. I will spend a little more than a month in Italy this spring and then (hopefully) will go teach English in Japan, Russia, or wherever I can find a job. After teaching English for a year or so, I would like to end up living in New Zealand or Australia and teaching there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While hiking with my family in California, we camped above the timber line. Since we were up so high and there were no trees to block our view, everywhere around me were stars. When I was lying on my back and looked towards my toes - stars. To the left - stars. To the right - stars. I felt like I was living inside of a snow globe and I didn't want to ever fall asleep.
