About Me

ABOUT ME

A person with deep sense of appreciation to simple things. A person who has a strong sense of optimism. A person that can make you forget your problems when you're with him. A person who loves life and everything that goes with it. :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I believe in its intent of making the world a better place by paying it forward. Sounds cliche but I am that kind of person that likes small talks but loves to talk about the essence of life. An idealist infused with practical sense.

Interests

I am interested of knowing people who have a lot of different experiences. I am interested in a cross-cultural conversations and discussions. I am interested in cooking, eating and watching movies. I love to take photos of the sceneries and I love to laugh and enjoy the day as ease. I like listening to the rain, seeing the skyline when the sun is about to set, climbing mountains and feel the humility that the Divinity gave you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like independent movies from Japan and the Philippines, especially about culture and the war. It always widens my perspective regarding life.

I like reading non-fictional books like "Freakonomics" or inspirational book like "One Day at a time."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled 15 Prefectures with Ordinary Train in Japan for 1 month. And it was pretty amazing. I met a lot of people along the way, and I had the experience to sleep in a park, internet cafe, capsule hotel and hostel. I just had my backpack, my camera and my biscuits with me. Climbed the mountains of Gifu, Aichi and Tokyo, went all the way up to Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Sky Tree, experienced different Festivals along the way, devoured different Japanese delicacies, and captured every moment with my camera.

One other adventure I had was when I traveled alone to a "war zone" in the Philippines to meet my friend. It was a bit scary but it ended pretty well. Did a lot of very adventurous things with him and met my father afterwards in a different place. Long Land trips and very very beautiful sceneries enthralled my eyes. :))

And with all the short and long travels that I have, I am always write a note. And I call it my traveler's note. Things that occur to me when I experience something. All of my emotions are penned down to my little black book that I want to release when I wi get older. :))
