ABOUT ME

Hey!
Im a South African/German, i've lived in Australia for most of my life. Im open-minded and easy going, enjoy all types of people and learning about different cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am more than happy to show people around or just have a coffee or hang out. I have hosted a few CS and non CS members.
I have couch surfed around Europe, discovered new and exciting cultures and people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have Hitch Hiked around Germany briefly with a fellow CSer, as well as Hitch Hiking from Poland to Spain over 2 weeks. Couch Surfing all the way, and met some amazing people.

I am an active Geocacher and would love to go caching with anyone who visits, I also love cooking, baking, travelling, learning, meeting new people, creative arts, music, reading, photography, discovering, designing and making glass jewellery (pendants).

Movies - I enjoy a variety of movies, mostly art-house and drama/comedy.
Music - I have a very wide taste in music, but mainly listen to House, Dance, Trance, Folk, Alternative, some Pop, Jazz, Acid Jazz, Trip-hop, Rock, Blues, Drum and Bass, Indie, Rock.
Books - I enjoy true to life books, especially powerful biographies (generally not celebrities) Slave, Ugly, Beyond Ugly, The Red Tent and at the moment i am reading a lot of Cathy Glass books.

~Watching my youngest nephew's birth and the first few hours of his life.
~Hitch Hiking around Germany for two weeks with a fellow CSer (Thanks Ramona!!! :-))
~Hitch Hiking from Poland to Spain (Thanks Javier!)
~Spending an amazing night in Konstanz with one of our hitch hiking drivers :-).
