I work in the food catering business as a chef. We working with food delivery and private events. I think that food is very important in our lives and that what we eat shows who we are. I can't to say that I'm 100% percent vegan or vegetarian because I still need to taste food and do other things when I'm working but at home I prefer to choose plant based food. I'm not very deep in this political things about veganism but I feel much better and have more energy for sport and my daily life when I use less animal products. Also I don't use alcohol so I'm not a party lion but I love good concerts. Especially punk rock or alternative rock.
I spent a lot of time for trail running and other sport and mind activities. I love this feeling when you I can to leave problems and worries behind myself and be a part of nature in motion. Of course that sometimes I run in city streets but if I can every time I choose nature, hills, forests or mountains.
When I have time after work and training I prefer go to the cinema, watch movies at home or reading a good book. Then I can to rest from active activities :)
I live together with my girlfriend Greta and best partner for running Labrador Haruki. It's my beloved creatures in the world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet with people from other countries and cultures. They expand your horizons of recognition and sometimes you can see daily life from other perspective but still I think that there's more similarities than differences. Also I understand that people wants to save money for her travels and can't stay every day in hotels. I'm also this type of person but still if you are not interesting to spend some time with your host and you think that CS is like booking.com please don't ask me to host you and don't waste my time. My home is not a hotel.
Also my English isn't perfect so I really like to speak with others in this language and improve my skills :)

P.S. Also I don't believe in those persons who every time mention that they are really couch surfers who only understands whole idea of this project. It looks that these people are too much congestion.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen various music but my favorite is classic punk rock and hardcore punk (Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Buzzcocks, Dead Kennedy's, Sham 69, Minor threat, Youth Brigade and others).
My favorite writers are Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, George Orwell, Kurt Vonnegut, Ken Kesey, Haruki Murakami.
I like Star Wars saga, Harry Potter, Marvel movies. Also I love good dramas (Forrest Gump, Good Will Hunting, 7 billboards outside Ebbing Missouri etc.).
I don't think that I can write here every band, singer, book or movie who change my mind or let to to look deeper in to certain things because every day you need various things. In depends on the mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decide don't use alcohol. That was the best decision in my life. Now I feel free from this brainwashing machine in our society who still wants to believe that alcohol gave them something or can to help feel more relax.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can to share my cooking skills and make some food for you. Also we can go to run together if you want I can share with you my experience. We can to tell more about Lithuania and our country traditions or just we can to talk about various things and to know each other :) Every host are different but I think that we can to find a way how we can share with each other.
