Overview
About Me
I’m from Sumatra and currently based in Medan. I’m the kind of traveler who likes to plan ahead—so I can make the most out of every place instead of just wandering without direction. But at the same time, I’m flexible and always open to spontaneous moments.
I enjoy exploring new places, trying local food (especially the unique and unusual ones 👀), and sometimes chasing a bit of adventure. I can go from walking around the city all day to just chilling at a café, or even enjoying a good night out—really depends on the vibe.
I haven’t done a full solo trip yet, but I once stayed in Kuala Lumpur alone for a week after a concert trip in Singapore, and that experience made me enjoy exploring at my own pace.
I’d say I’m easygoing, respectful, and genuinely interested in meeting new people and hearing their stories. For me, traveling is not just about places, but also about connections.
Also, I believe the best travel memories usually come from unplanned conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe traveling is not just about visiting places, but about connecting with people.
I enjoy meeting locals, hearing their stories, and experiencing a place from their perspective—not just as a tourist. For me, the best part of traveling often comes from simple moments like sharing meals, conversations, or exploring together.
I’m not just looking for a place to stay, but for meaningful connections and cultural exchange. Hopefully, we can share good conversations, experiences, and maybe even become friends along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a mix of music depending on my mood—from Taylor Swift and Coldplay to Cigarettes After Sex and Lady Gaga.
For movies and shows, I enjoy a mix of fantasy and drama like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and Stranger Things. I also grew up loving Harry Potter—still feels magical every time.
Always happy to exchange recommendations or just talk about favorite scenes, songs, or theories!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Yogyakarta, I challenged myself to try something I never imagined before—eating grasshopper. It was definitely out of my comfort zone, but surprisingly… not bad at all 😄 That moment made me realize how fun it is to say yes to new experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share stories about life in Indonesia, especially Sumatra, and also my experiences working as an auditor—maybe not the most exciting topic at first, but it comes with interesting real-life insights 😄
I’d love to learn about local culture, daily life, and how people see the world from different perspectives. I’m especially curious about hidden spots, local food, and authentic experiences.
Good conversations, travel stories, and definitely food! I enjoy trying local dishes and would be happy to share meals, experiences, and laughs together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations, positive energy, and respect for your home and space.
I’d be happy to share stories about Indonesia—especially Sumatra—and my travel experiences. I also enjoy trying and talking about local food, so we can definitely bond over meals or food recommendations.
If you’re up for it, I’d love to explore together or just hang out. And of course, I’ll always be a clean, respectful, and easygoing guest.
