ABOUT ME
I currently live in New Hampshire, just outside of Boston, where I am building a taproom/cafe and small events venue with a focus on farm-to-table and community...all while living and working on an educational farm.
I have a degree in Professional Writing, so I think like a writer--always filtering life through cheesecloth, catching little details in the pulp. I enjoy writing poetry and creative non-fiction, with a special interest in documentary, ethnography, and travel writing.
Along with my few experiences with CS, I've spent time as a WWOOFer, volunteering on organic farms in Northern Italy and Western France, where I spent my days shadowing an Italian cook, maintaining a vineyard and bottling wine, eating salads entirely comprised of weeds, picking black currants, riding bicycles with flat tires up hills, fighting off nettle stings, and baking bread in a French kitchen.
When visiting a new place, I am fascinated in its culture, its history, its art, and its little hidden corners.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to host surfers in the future, when I am able.
My own CS experience is limited, but was wonderful. I WWOOFed in Italy and France and camped & CouchSurfed along the way.
When I am more settled into my house, I would love to host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experience is limited, but flawless! My first hosts, Marie & Maxime were kind, welcoming, helpful, funny, and beautiful people. I would love to someday be as lovely of hosts as they were. I still write letters back and forth with Marie, and we communicate on WhatsApp in between.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am immensely interested in culture and in humanity, so I would love to teach others about my culture, and tell them my stories, in exchange for their own!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A genuine and eager interest in their home, city, culture, and experiences. And, hopefully, a growing friendship. I can also cook and bake, and would never share a mess!
