I'm a student at Lancaster University (UK). Originally I'm from Ukraine, but last 4 years I was living in the UK and Canada, where I did my exchange year abroad. Last year I've been working in finance in City of London doing my industrial placement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and meet locals to feel the real spirit of the city. Just started couchsurfing, so not sure how it is. I think it's really nice opportunity to get the taste for local people and their city. This is also a good way to save on hotels or hostels ;)

Interests

I like to have an interesting discussion or chat, having a party, going to bars, meeting new people, watching good movie or reading a book. I was doing rowing while studying in uni.
Really like to read fiction, historic or sociological books.
I like good electronic festivals. Enjoying techno music and different types of electronic music. Also fun of "old school" late 60s - early 70s rock, jazz and reggae.

Managed to find great job in London while doing exchange year in Canada and not having proper experience. It was real challenge for me :)

Travelling experience, funny stories, bottle of wine or couple pints of beer, teach some Russian or Ukrainian, can cook really nice dinner!
