There is a stereotype that all the computer programmers are unsocial, totally into themselves with no particular interests outside their profession. I guess I'm not like that at all, but I still am an IT guy who loves computers and almost everything about them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books. J. D. Salinger - The Catcher in the Rye, Viktor Pelevin, Isaac Asimov, Stephen King, adventure, popular science books: biology, physics, astrophysics. I read a lot and each time it's something very different.

Movies. A Scanner Darkly, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fight Club, Memento, Plunkett & Macleane, Shawshank Redemption, Thank You for Smoking and many others. But the genre I'm the most into is all sorts of comedies.

Music. All kinds of electronic music like Dubstep, Psytrance (does anyone here know what that is?), Techno etc. But nu-metal and rock bands like Limp Bizkit, SoaD, Metallica etc. also sound quite appealing to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I quit my comfortable job at Moscow, got my backpack ready and left the country to see the World. This time for real.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm quite willing to teach people things I'm good at, sure if they are interested in been taught. So far I have some expertise in things like computers, swimming, rollerblading and some other stuff.

As of learning, right now I'm in a process of improving my Spanish and would appreciate any help with that.
