Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After travelling on my own for a couple of times I realised that without getting to know locals it is definitely not the kind of a trip I want to have. I travel to experience something new, to be able to tell a nice story if I'm asked to, I want to feel the country, and it will never be possible if the only locals you speak to are waiters and souvenir-sellers.
