About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a narrow minded xenophobic person that hates to travel :D
ehm...well i don't like to talk much about myself but my friends describe me as fun to be with, always open for crazy spontaneous shit...I like to cycle a lot. I am a yoga teacher and I am a vegan (but I am too mean to be a hippie... tho I do enjoy the occasional dead flowers in my hair ;)
i love singing i love goin to museums. i love languages and I LOVE FOOD!!! i love cookin it i love eating it i love grocery shopping :D
i love second hand shops coz u always find unique stuff. And last but not least i LOVE showing people around my cities...(whether it is Cairo, Munich or Freiburg where i currently live)

PHILOSOPHY

Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodha.

Absolutely in love with Aristotle!

Ecstatic about Ibn Arabi and Rumi!

Generally anything that has to do with Sufism and mysticism, esoteric energy stuff and spirituality.

And my more simple philosophies are:
That's what he said!
No day but today!
life is too short to pull a long face!
be the change you want to see in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: is simply my life and i enjoy it whenever i hear it or do it! my favourite genre is jazz and blues...
books: i like books that make you look at the world from a new perspective, like fairy tales, mythology books, and generally books on spirituality and psychology I could sniff up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I teach trauma sensitive yoga at refugee camps in and Freiburg. I have also worked with Refugees in Munich, the most amazing kids I have seen in the world!

I have seen a Korean belly dancer move her hips to Egyptian music in a Russian club in Beijing, China. (Long live globalization)

The rain forest of Costa Rica. Breathtaking nature.

I was part of an NGO called Dance4life in Egypt which was an organization where we taught young people how to protect themselves from HIV/aids in a creative way.
I think that was pretty amazing.

I have climbed the Moses mountain :D which was for me also something pretty amazing! as it was June, 38 degrees and we climbed it after a 6 hour bus drive in the blazing sun!!!

The Taj Mahal
