HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a new member of this community, and was introduced to it by a friend who has participated. I joined at the start of a long bike journey, from West Texas to the Atlantic Ocean, en route to Virginia, where my family are based.
I currently do not have a couch to offer (but may soon, once settled in CA). Instead, I offer my abilities in building and making, for those I meet through this network in need of them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While traveling across Texas, I met some very kind, and all-around wonderful people via the Couch-Surfing network. I watched the hills glow orange from a papercrete compound in Marathon, and camped at Enchanted Rock on Thanksgiving Day with fellow Couchsurfers in TX-these are experiences I will never forget!

Moments:
A staff worker at the Davis Mountains State Park, who, upon hearing of my dilemma in choosing between two campsites exclaims "May all your decisions be so delicious!"
The generosity of a local welder who helped me construct a trailer for my bike and still calls to see "WHERE YOU AT?!"
Kantomanta, in central Accra-all its life and density. The mothers who travel there with children to find work for themselves and an education for their kids.
A transborder papalote event with the Chula Vista Boys and Girls Club y the Club de Ninos y Ninas de Mexico
