About Me

*** Please read the "Home" section and the house rules before sending your request ***

Hello World!
I'm an introvert guy, just give me a bed, a good book, and some cookies and I will survive for months.
My favorite hobby is traveling, that's probably the only time that I get out of my room eagerly. I love to see new places, to enjoy nature and its beauty, to meet new people while traveling and hear their stories, to visit historical places and find out what they have to recount.

I'm vegetarian. That's my way to help animals feel less pain. I became Vegetarian in 2015 thanks to my then girlfriend. She is now my friend/wife and I'm so pleased that I have also found my best travel partner. (Here is her profile on CS: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/samin-ghaedi)

I'm a PhD student of Economics and currently I'm focused on finishing my dissertation, but a much harder mission for me is to drop out of school. Don't get me wrong, I really love my major but I don't like to be dictated what to read. Self Learning and Learning by Doing have been always more productive for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People are alive books, each person has a story to tell. I'm here to here the stories.
Each encounter will be a new experience. How other people think, believe, or feel? What are their pains and their joys? What's their biggest fear?
Each Couchsurfing experience is a page of The Thousand and One Nights!

Interests

To be honest, I will kill for desserts!

I love to watch movies with family and friends.

I love animals, but one strange thing is that I was afraid of dogs up to around 2014. I can remember the first time I petted a dog, the strange feeling, and I've fallen in love with them since then.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I lived alone in a cabin in mountains for almost two summers. I enjoyed beautiful view of cloud sea, sounds of sheep bells and livestock during the days, and absolute silence of the nights.
- I camped and slept in woods for several days with a few family members.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Persian.
I'm also interested to teach economics if anyone interested, and recount some interesting economic stories/experiments.

I want to learn Spanish, Arabic.
Also want to learn data science.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will make you some delicious Persian cook.
