ABOUT ME

Only for the past few years have I actually been traveling. Before, I was a bookworm, but now I have gotten out of my cocoon and flown around the world. I have visited China, Taiwan, Jamaica, Turkey, Germany, England, and Denmark. I've also visited most of the states in the United States. I enjoy doing ANYTHING, and I HATE feeling useless while sitting around doing nothing (similar to the feeling I have when filling out this section--haha, I should be out exploring!).

I love eating all sorts of different foods: just read my blog (edsamazingjourney.blogspot.com). I am rarely grossed out by anything, and love taking everything in at once. There is almost nothing that I won't try once--I've got life insurance right? :)

I've recently found out about this awesome idea and I plan on hosting once I get back to the United States. I'll be living in different countries for the next 3 years and hope that I can help those budget travelers, or loners looking for someone to hang out with.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have climbed up Emei Mountain in China (12 hour climb) and saw the sunrise above the sea of clouds. It was beautiful so see the orange/red colors hit the giant, golden statue of Buddha.

I can speak fluent Mandarin--need a little more help on the reading/writing part.

I can play the oboe--have been playing for 10 years.
