ABOUT ME

Everyone's got their own perceptions and impressions! I love to meet like-minded people, and people who challenge my opinions and views, possibly (and hopefully) even change them! I can be very quiet, although still present, and I can be very loud...but always I try to be affectionate and warm. I'm just as human as the rest- I can be wrong, stubborn and sulk! However I'm compassionate and can't walk away from someone who is upset. I think quite a bit, so it's great when someone throws a spanner in the works!

I cannot currently host but may be able to in future.
I am however looking to couchsurf, particularly in Europe

-Acting has been a keen interest of mine for a while now. I've an A Level in drama, and experience in theatre and screen
-I like to cycle, in the past I've mostly gone for short rides with my dad or for getting from A to B, but now I would like to start challenging myself and really tire out my legs
-Travelling has been a serious passion, and always will be I'm sure! I want to see new things, be it a French mars bar or the Eiffel Tower!
-Theatre and film make for a great day or night out
-Good food and drink!
-Trying new things, at the moment I'd like to start climbing and canoeing, amongst maaaany others

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Singing South African songs of liberation, in English, Afrikaans and tribal languages, in the back of a pick-up truck, racing down the lanes at night in the rain to a reggae bar, with people I had only just met a few minutes earlier. What a great way to spend a first night in Africa

Outside the Sacre Coeur at night, looking across a lit up Paris, with a man busking Wonderwall out into the night. Sounds cliche huh, well it does for a reason

Taking part in a weeklong intercultural youth exchange in Porto. Made friends with Portugese, French, Estonians, Romanians and Danish- all fine drinkers! For a man with two left feet I chose to take the Street Dance workshop, great choice, especially as the guys were in the minority! Wonderful wonderful experience, it left me exhausted by the end
