About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling and finding myself. Considering grad school.

ABOUT ME

I've lived everywhere in the states, totaling ~15 cities throughout my life. Currently living in Saint Paul, Minnesota

I fell in love with traveling right after high school, as my summer job was working for Northwest Airlines as a baggage handler. Saw half of the United States 3 months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling to places and seeing things is great and all, but I believe it's the connections we make with people during the journey to be the most memorable.

Interests

Inwardly, I'm impulsive, so my passions range from year to year. My one true love is music, and I feel like I can speak on that subject with just about anyone.

I try to play guitar, but it's not something I'm terrific at. I've been slowly teaching myself, and can sing and play a few songs.

I absolutely love beer. One of my favorite things to do is to seek out and try local varieties wherever I may be traveling. Favorite styles are porters, stout, and IPAs.

Of course with beer, comes food, and I love local sampling local cuisine as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much everything under the sun. I grew up on hip-hop, but now mostly listen to anything with guitars.

For movies, anything with a good plot, good dialogue, or good character development. I love Scorsese, Tarantino, and Nolan.

Books: I mostly read fiction, and of the fiction I read, most of it is sci-fi/fantasy. Eagerly awaiting the next Stormlight Archive book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking across Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the history and culture of the Hmong people; one of the relatively unknown diasporas of the world.

Would enjoying sharing my love of beer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully a new connection with a random individual from Duluth, Minnesota, USA.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Poland, South Korea, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
