hei
i'm sophie & 20 years old. i graduated from school in 2010. afterwards i worked in finland for 10 months from september '10 to june '11. then i was working in a kindergarten in my hometown for 11 months and now i can't wait to start studying in october!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my first experience was in Rovaniemi, surfing the couch of a great guy who's been travelling around the world the last 1,5 years and just came back home 1 month ago. it was great to hear his stories of that time and visit the best bar in town

Interests

Travelling .. of course :) I want to see as many places as possible, even at the moment I haven't had the possibility to travel a lot ..

Sports .. my passion. I'm so enthusiastic about every kind of sport, I can't live without it!

Languages! Communicating with people in another language is just exciting!
Speaking in other languages .. it's so much fun to talk in English and hopefully soon in many other languages as well!

Spending great time with friends, having fun and laughing with them a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2007 I have been volunteering during my summer holidays in a project nearby my home town, where 18 refugee children from Algeria got the possibility to spend 6 weeks in Germany.
It was so great to see, how these kids were enjoying things, that are so usual to me (even shampoo was totally new for them). They had shown me what it means to be poor, but still not complaining. They were enjoying each day, because they knew, that they just could be what they are - kids.
