I´m a journalist and a writer. My hobbies are more artistic than sports. I go to gym though. I´m interested in folklore, I sing fenno ugrian folk songs in a group of middle aged ladies. I´m also interested in buildings, architecture - not only world famous houses but also hand made rarities, that are maybe pretty only in my eyes. I love good stories and like to listen to people. I´m not very shy and not as quiet as finns are usually said to be. I need my own space though and I don´t get mad alone. Anyway meeting new people is a spice of my food called life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually I don´t. Or have not done it yet. Maybe in the future. I´m new here.
Also I have to arrange place for a visitor first to able to accept one.
But I sure meet people with pleasure immediately. I can walk you around or go with you somewhere and show you around.

Unfortunately I´m not a good movie person. I have collected a lot of movies to be watched one day - or hundred days, when I finally have time for them.
I´m specialized in finnish literature. But of course I read others too. I also read detective novels. And in my car when driving I always listen to novels read by actors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have given a birth to one son. And adopted some more.

Thinking of travelling maybe New Zealand has been one of the places I keep memories from. Not only because it is situated as far from Finland as possible. If you continue a bit more far away, you start to come closer again!

I have learned about singing, even if I´m not the best singer in this country.
I can share my knowledge and experience about my country and my city and maybe about my life too.
