About Me

Young traveller eager to experience what the world has to offer! Fond of hiking, orienteering and various adventure sports. Also an avid weightlifter. As far as indoor activities go, I'm big on programming, and make all sorts of games and animations. I also make jewellery and attempt digital art.

Eager to see the world's sights, whether natural or man-made.

(Just to be upfront: I'm a lesbian, and will likely not be comfortable staying with anyone who's homophobic. So I'd much rather stay with an LGBT-friendly host. But if you're perhaps on the fence and want a human face to help you understand LGBT issues, I'll help.)

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music tends to be a few decades older than me, though I've been trying to branch out more modern. My tastes gravitate towards either heavy rock or soft and acoustic or trance-like, but I can appreciate all sorts.

Have never been much of a movie person, but am a sucker for sci-fi/fantasy. As for books, I can't really decide on a favourite! Good Omens is what comes to mind when writing this, so we'll go with that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived a car crash, a week before my twelfth birthday. I'm lucky to be alive at all -- best make the most of it!

Teach, Learn, Share

As a part-time tutor -- and hopefully a full-time teacher, once I've finished my studies -- I'm more than used to teaching! I'll happily give anyone a primer in programming, which is something I believe everyone should at least give a go. Also up to help people learn more about the Internet, computers, and technology in general.

I'm very open-minded and can take an interest in just about anything! Always willing to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Apart from what's mentioned above, my family has a gorgeous-tasting chicken recipe that I'd be all too happy to share...!
