About Me
** Just moving home and starting a new job. So disconnecting from couschsurfing for a while. Probably won't be replying to messages for at least some months. **
Hi, I'm Eimear! I'm from the rural, west of Ireland. I'm new to couchsurfing!
I'm very interested in travelling new places, getting to know new cultures, and learning about the history and traditions of a place. So couchsurfing is a great way to meet and interact with locals.
I am am a huge foodie so of course travelling for me means trying all the local cuisines.
I am a qualified social worker and plan to spend a year travelling before starting a career in that profession.
Looking forward to meeting lots of new and interesting people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm hoping to live affordably while meeting locals and learning something I might not learn while travelling alone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve been incredibly lucky to have travelled so much by such a young age. My parent always had an interest in travelling so brought me around the world when I was younger, as well as encouraging me in my solo travels later,
Despite having this privilege, I’ve always loved helping others. During my studies I got to work with adults and children who had much less than me. I helped him them with their personal and family problems and helped make a difference.
What I Can Share with Hosts
While travelling with my friend Sadhbh, we can share our ove of the Irish culture. Including Irish food, the language, and dance!
