ABOUT ME

Someone once told me that I was unpredictable, so I guess you could say that I am a little like the weather in Ireland. :-P I like to go where the wind takes me.....and have lived in and traveled to many places. Although it wasn't my plan to come back to Ireland to live just yet, the world and my career has conspired to bring me back and to work in human rights. I am really enjoying being back, but have to get used to the 4-seasons-a-day-lifestyle....for now. :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed a couple of times in Turkey,Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany and Italy. I have been at couch surfing events while living in the Netherlands and Germany and have showed people around or met surfers while on holidays in Berlin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have made some great friends through CS. When I decided to move to Italy and had nowhere to stay I fell on my feet thanks to couchsurfing.

Travelling & meeting new people goes without saying.:-) Trips 2019: Japan, Caceres, Madrid, Zurich, Lisbon, Valencia, Poland. Food lover, art exhibitions, roaming markets, music festivals. I quite like a knees-up,shindig,chinwag, going to the mountains,swimming ,cooking, cycling,growing vegetables with moderate success, listening to writing, listening to people's stories....

Music.......I like a bit of everything.... going to see Smashing Pumpkins and relive my teen years in July... Badbadnotgood, Lapsley, Talos, Ghetto Kumbe, Bon Iver, Tame Impala, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Gus Dapperton, Le Galaxie London Grammar, Wolf Alice, The XX, at the moment..
