I'm Lisa, 21 years old and from Germany.
Right now I'm studying psychology in leipzig. I do enjoy my studies but anyways I love using every free space to travel the world. Just going with the flow and seeing what’s coming next.
Otherwise I would describe myself as a very open and happy person with a lot of energy and zest for action :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It‘s the best way to feel at home abroad.
I don‘t like traveling like a tourist and rushing from place to place.
I would like to get in touch with the people and experience the real culture and life in you country.

Interests

I have so many interests.
So first I love doing sports like running, swimming, yoga or bouldering. But I also enjoy trying new sports and challenging myself.
In the last few months I've found out that I also like to be creative. So I just started to learn playing ukulele.
And for sure I love cooking and baking except for cleaning the kitchen afterwards ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Nicaragua I had the opportunity to volunteer at Volcano Day for two months. This is a tour agency that offers various hikes, including camping trips, to the volcanoes in the area.
Apart from the beautiful and impressive landscape, the people there made me happy. We, the volunteers, and the locals have become one big family, a place where everyone was welcome. I loved it to stay there and one day I will go back.
