ABOUT ME

Well, I was a student at the University of Pittsburgh and I studied German, East European History and Politics and Western European politics, and a bit of Swedish too. I have taken the slow route through school and think I am better for it. I am a really relaxed person, but I love to have fun and be social, sometimes a bit too much! :) I love to meet people from other countries. I like to consider myself a worldly person and well traveled. I am into personal fitness, I like to lift weights, but I am not over the top about it. I like to read and listen to music and see good movies, yeah I know, doesn't everyone? I have a positive outlook on life and am most always in a good mood. I also like taking photos, I could never draw so, Photography is my creative out. I lived in Sweden and studied a program called, the Öresund Master of European Studies at Malmö university in cooperation with Roskilde University in Denmark. Now, that I have graduated, I got married and moved to Istanbul. Maybe crazyiest thing I have ever done. So now I am in Istanbul looking for work and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not fair nor is it easy, but the more people you know, the better off you are. It's all about people and friends. I love people and would rather have a million friends than a million dollars.

I have just moved to Istanbul and looking to make some new friends in the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great time in Europe summer (2008) and met some really great people, who really took care of me and showed me a great time and now I am ready to give back to the community, only that I sadly don't have a couch to offer. :( But I will offer my knowledge of the city and show my guests a really good time!

兴趣

Travel and other cultures. Anything European, German, Nordic, slavic and former soviet union. Movies, music, languages, the usual. I also love conversations about life, politics and pretty much anything. I love to talk and meet people.
