Overview
About Me
Hi, I am Eitan. 23 years old from Jerusalem, Israel.
After 3 years of intense army service i am planning on traveling around the world for the next few years.
I did my first solo travels in age 18 and since then my passion to travel and explore has just gone bigger and bigger.
My friends see me as a calm, peaceful, calculated, trustworthy and open-minded person. I love to discover new places, to get to know to new people and their culture, language, food, and in general their way of living.
At my free time i like to do sports, espacially mountain climbing and yoga, i like to travel, read and learn new things. Lately i started learning phtography.
As a couchsurfer i promise that i am an easy to host person. I am calm, organized, polite and i cook pretty good (By the way, I'm a vegan)
I'm excited to start my new adventure and i hope my our paths will cross in the future!
Philosophy
Be the change you want to see in the world. I believe that all the flaws in our world and in our sorroundings can come to peace if we ould only just understand the power we have as individuals when we make positive changes in our way of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After traveling Central America at age 18 for 5 months i understood that traveling is not about sight seeing and city hoping, but more about setteling in each place and getting to know the people and learn the culture.
I love meeting new people, and share with them experiences, thoughts, stories, trying to learn from every person i meet.
I had some amazing couchsurfing experiences in the past and i know this platform is the best for really encountaring new people and make a better world that is based on good will and sharing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I see the culture of books, music and movies as one of the most eye opening things we have now days. Espacially today, in this virtual world we live in, music, books and movies are one of the best ways for us to discover in a tap of a fingre huge amount of new stories, cultures and traditions.
I love to listen to new native local music, read history books or easy story telling novels, and i mostly would like to watch documentry films or based on true story filmes which help me learn new things and understand how amazing life can be.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked 280 km, for 13 days, from Neustralitz in Germany to Poznan in Poland, at the same route my grandmother used to escape Germany after the Holocaust.
It was an amazing experience walking in unknown trails in the forests on a way that I had to figure out myself. Carrying all my equipment of 25kg with me and having almost zero interaction with any other people for the whole time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can not offer any thing special. I suppose i can cook pretty well and i wash dishes fabulousley . I can try and offer a good conversation, exchangment of knowledge and stories, and a ppositive experience with a random person that wouldn't happen any other way
